WHAT I DO

In my 10+ years as a professional copywriter, I've become an expert in bringing brands of all kinds to life and getting the right message across to almost any audience. I'm also design-savvy and specialize in making things look as good as they sound.

NEW PATHWAYS FOR YOUTH

New Pathways for Youth needed updated messaging that better reflected who they are today. They also needed to brand their youth development program and wanted a brand that would resonate with youth and capture the fun, energetic spirit of the program. I developed their core messaging, their youth program’s name, and worked with a designer to develop the program’s branding.

TEMPE COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY

TCAA was looking to rebrand their organization, updating both their visual identity and
messaging. With my team and a designer, we developed core messaging and all-new
messaging that better spoke to who TCAA is, what they do, and why they do it.

HOME IS WHERE IT ALL STARTS

Home Matters to AZ, a collaborative seeking to create a campaign that changed the narrative around affordable housing in Arizona, needed a name, visual identity, and messaging for their campaign that would speak to their target audiences and create momentum. I partnered with the collaborative, my team, and a designer to develop all three.

NEW LIFE CENTER

After previously working with New Life Center on their core messaging, I developed copy for their new website that pulls audiences into their mission and inspires them to get involved.

I developed copy for Advance’s new website, as well as partnered with the Advance team and
website developer to build the site, providing structural and design direction.

During their launch, I developed the copy for Threshold’s website and worked with their web
developer to design and develop a site that explains what they do in an easy to understand, visually enticing way.

CALIFORNIA PARTNERSHIP FOR SAFE COMMUNITIES

As I identified in their marketing strategy, one of the most important aspects of CPSC’s work
was showcasing its outcomes. While their white papers
previously lacked any branding or cohesive visuals and were difficult to read, I created a new
template that would allow them to revamp their white papers and make them more visually
interesting, recognizable as CPSC, and easy to read for their audiences.

KACHEMAK BAY FAMILY PLANNING CENTER

As KBFPC serves underserved populations in remote areas of Alaska, we identified that direct
mail would be the best way to reach them. I developed the copy and design direction for a
postcard advertising the clinic’s primary services and benefits, then worked with a designer to
develop and print the finished piece.

THE SOCIAL TELEVISION NETWORK

To help STN share the unique value they provide for their audiences, I developed the structure, design direction, and copy for their Season 1 impact report, then worked with a
designer to create the finished product.

THRESHOLD

After helping them implement their launch, Threshold experienced explosive growth. They needed a marketing strategy that would help them not attract more audiences, but retain their
current participants and increase their funding. I developed a marketing strategy centered
around those two goals, with a messaging map that would help them understand how to
message to each of their audiences to achieve these goals.

CALIFORNIA PARTNERSHIP FOR SAFE COMMUNITIES

CPSC needed a marketing strategy to increase their funding and build stronger partnerships. I
developed a strategy with clear objectives, key results, and action steps to help them
accomplish these goals.

NEW PATHWAYS FOR YOUTH

New Pathways for Youth needed to enhance their mentor recruitment process, so that they
would experience less dropouts throughout the prospect to mentor pipeline. I developed
strategies centered around this goal and helped implement them, including developing a
message toolbox specifically for potential mentors.
